Thursday nights are a time of solace for me. Since Mateo goes to bed at 6:30-7 and the hubby goes to play basketball at 7:30 and doesn't get home until 11 usually, it makes for a long, lonely night. But at the same time, it is nice I have to admit. Now if I could only use the time wisely and be productive instead of laying in bed like a bump on a log!
On the Mateo front, my 10 mo old is such a wonderful, happy baby! He is truly such a joy. It has been nice the past couple of weeks now that I started working an earlier shift that I can spend more time with him during the week. He isn't really trying to walk yet, but he is lightning fast at the crawling thing!
At the beginning of the school year, he started going to Amy's daycare. He has really seemed to adjust very well. Sometimes it seems he doesn't want to come home! All the kids seem to like him and he asserts himself very well for being more than a year younger than all of them!
Well that's all for now, I'll update soon.

Augh, it's been too long again
Well, we have had quite an eventful summer. This summer we have had the blessing of Kristen Coonrod come to our house each day and take care of Mateo. It's been awesome! She is amazing with him and it is so easy to just wait for her to get here and then leave and not have to pack anything, get him dressed, put him in the car, etc, etc. I can't believe that tomorrow is her last day already! She goes back to school this weekend.
The next news, is we are pregnant! McClure baby #2 is due mid April. We are super excited. There are 8 women currently pregnant at church, so we are in good company. My cousin and his wife are also pregnant, so our little one will again have a "Dibble" playmate born the same year. We are very excited to experience this WHOLE pregnancy not like our first, abbreciated one.
My parents were just here for a visit, and it was good to see that Mateo remembered them and had a ball with them. It was also good to spend time with them. My parents and their "greƱas" had a wonderful week together. We had our traditional birthday dinner for my dad at Red Lobster, and Paty and Rene joine us which was nice. We haven't see them much this summer so it was good to spend some time with them also.
Matthew has been working with a friend doing some landscaping making a little extra money. I think he's feeling a little anxious about the money situation for baby #2. I know that if God provides another miracle baby, then God will provide the provisions we need. No doubt about it.
Looking forward to the holiday weekend to hopefully get some work done around the house. I will need to put all of my "regular" clothes away that I just got out 2 weeks ago, because the rest of my clothes were finally about to fit me! Well, there went that thought, lol. At least it's because of a good reason.
That's all for now folks, talk to you soon.

Long time no update
Well, I can't believe it's almost been 2 months since I posted! Come to think about it, that is about the time that Mateo started teething again, and w whole lot worse this time. My sweet, happy boy has turned into a monster from about 8-12 each evening. It's not his fault I know, but boy is it not pleasant!
Well, in these last 2 months a lot has happened, don't ask me what, cause I can't really remember. :) lol
So I'll start with what I do remember. Last Sunday Mateo participated in a skit at church with his godparents Neil and Alison. Boy was it funny! All of you first service Northbridgers missed out because Mateo was only in the 2nd one. The skit was for our women's event and the topic was "Who's coming to dinner" so all about hospitality. Well Alison was acting as a mom who was completely out of control. The house was a mess, the kids were out of control and her personal appearance was a little scary! Mateo was the youngest son and he did so good, she started yelling, and he cried on cue! We had him just in his diaper and hooked his pacifier clip to his hair, which he grabbed and stuck in his mouth at a perfect part too! She then set him down in a laundry basket and he proceeded to sit there and make no noise for the rest of the skit (about 5 minutes). Uncle Neil was the husband who comes home to find everything so crazy and then dump that the boss' family was coming the following night to dinner and maybe she should go to the women's event to get some help. It was truly precious, my only regret is that we didn't get it on video. Alison and I talked though and from now on we are going to video tape all of the skits.
This was really Kristen's first week "nannying" for Mateo here at the house. It is going to so good and I am SO THANKFUL for her. He has adjusted well to her like I knew he would. It is so nice not having to pack all his stuff everyday.
Friday Mateo went and played with the Keckler clan because Kristen had a wedding in Iowa? I think with her family. She will be back on Tuesday so Monday Mateo will go back and play with Nancy and Amelia! So thankful to all the Northbridge ladies who have volunteered to help us (Rebecca, Cassie, Erica, Nancy and so many others these specific ladies are just the ones I've actually taken them up on their offers!).
On a somber note, please be in prayer for a couple of friends of mine and their families. My friend Lynea's 23 yr old son passed away this week in Germany. I can't imagine the emotions their family are having to deal with. Please pray for them, they have been heavy on my heart and I know they can use all the prayers possible right now.
Good night and I promise I will post more often.

First sickness
Well, it's been a few days since I've posted, but I have a good excuse. My baby got an upper respiratory infection, double ear infection and....pink eye! Poor kid, he was miserable. He's been sleeping a lot but he is feeling a ton better now. I missed him today, I got home and Matt had put him down for a nap, and now at 10:49 pm, he is still sleeping, that would be going on hour 5. I'm really sleepy so I need to head to bed.
One last thing, please remember to pray for baby Stellan, he had surgery today.

Good Friday
If anyone is looking for an alternative to the traditional Good Friday service, come join us at Northbridge! We are doing an underground type of thing where you will go to the church and be given a CD and a map with directions, there will be a couple of stops I think? Before you reach the final destination for the short service. This is to represent the persecuted church who don't simply have a place to go to worship and have to do it in hiding. This is a great, interactive way to show (your kids) how blessed we are with our religious freedom in this country.
Let me know if you want more details, look forward to seeing you there.
